While many firms provide clients with the same services, none provide the level of integrity, loyalty, and dedication that Orion provides. We work for many of our clients as an extension of their in-house staff or for organizations that have little construction management capabilities or who require more comprehensive pre-construction help. We format our services to meet the particular needs of the project and client. We are comfortable working in a wide variety of delivery situations. Our services will normally fall into the following categories.

Preconstruction Services typically begin during the schematic design phase, continues through the design development phase, and concludes with the final buy-out of the project. It is during the schematic design phase that we develop a project control schedule to establish a timeline for all pre-construction activities as well as for construction. We also develop the first estimate and associated value engineering based on the completed schematic design documents.

Construction Management continues to be the main focus of Orion’s practice. Work is usually negotiated on a fee basis and is either At-Risk or Agency in its organization and always has a significant Pre-Construction component. Some projects are obtained through the competitive bid market. Orion is active in the mid-South and Southern regions and has developed strong relationships with many continuing clients.

Consulting Services encompass surveys of existing buildings and systems to provide Owners with information regarding the condition of the various facility components. These analyses will typically include valuable operational information about their physical plants, as well as budgeting for component replacement and/or systems upgrades.
